Stylish workspaces

Make working from home a pleasure in a study that is not only well-appointed and functional but that suits your personal style and serves as a chic, inspiring workspace.

Feel inspired by these gorgeous studies and stylish workspaces from some of our luxury residential projects, including a chocolate brown study with original oak panelling and the perfect home office that you can close away at the end of the day!

In the study of our Broad Walk family home a sense of warmth has been created with a rich colour palette of golden caramel, deep navy and burnt orange. The L-shaped burr walnut desk with Giorgetti desk chair and Armani Casa lounge chairs in luxe leather add a sense of luxury. The walls are covered in a textured strie wallpaper (Innovations Caballo CAB102 Dun from Altfield) and combined with the striking Kyle Bunting Mirage rug from Fameed Khalique. Monochrome accessories have been kept to a minimum in this comfortable yet stylish workspace.

The study in our Richmond family home is a secluded space where our client can be completely uninterrupted. Initially he was uncertain about venturing into the use of colour however based on a trusting relationship with us, gave the go-ahead for the walls to be painted a gorgeous chocolate brown. The rich colour palette marries well with the bespoke dark timber joinery and lattice leather doors. The light linen textured desk top with dark oak frame continues the plush theme and to inject further texture, we added a thick loop area rug and upholstered visitors chair. As a complete contrast, a daybed or chaise lounge has been positioned in the window area and upholstered in a soft blue fabric with patterned cushion. The original oak panelling and limestone fireplace surround add depth and authenticity to the scheme to make this space a cosy escape from the rest of the house.

In contrast to the study, the desk space in the open-plan living area can be conveniently hidden from view by a large timber sliding door that pockets to behind the library storage alongside. This is the perfect home office that you can close away at the end of the day! The timber of the sliding door is in contrast to the soft grey painted veneer of the desk. Every aspect of the joinery has been carefully considered and designed to suit the exact requirements of our client. The painted timber is offset with the solid timber shelves and metalwork to create a beautiful feature.

In the bedroom of our Buckingham Street pied-a-terre, a secluded desk area has been separated by a divider that can perform the double function of a headboard or simply a discreet screen that reflects light and creates a warm ambience in the area beyond. LED lighting has been added to the lower edge of the divider to provide a gentle glow, enhancing the intimacy of the space, which is perfect for private reading and relaxing.
