We were delighted to be announced as the winner at the biggest and longest running awards event in the kitchen and bathroom industry, the kbbreview Retail & Design Awards. The award, which was presented at a black tie gala dinner at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole on 27th March 2017, were won in the Kitchen Designer of the Year – project cost over £50,000 – and the Bathroom designer of the Year – project cost over £25,000 categories. The day started bright and early with a trip to the Hilton Birmingham Metropole where Ros was invited to speak on a bathroom workshop panel at the kbbreview Retail & Design Conference 2017. The topic of discussion was ‘When does room planning become interior design?’. Ros opened the discussion showcasing images from our Belsize Park master bathroom to illustrate how to develop a true bathroom interior design rather than simply planning the room and placing products.
After a full day of discussion, debate and interviews, we headed off for a glass of wine and then onto the glamourous awards dinner, hosted by comedian Jimmy Carr. We didn’t think the day could end on a higher note until it was announced that we had won both the Kitchen Designer of the Year – project cost over £50,000 Award for our Belsize Park kitchen design and Bathroom Designer of the Year – project cost over £25,000 Award for our Belsize Park master bathroom design. We were absolutely delighted and honoured that our work was acknowledged amongst such talented designers in the kitchen and bathroom design categories.
kbbreview commented: ‘The big winner on the night was designer Roselind Wilson, from her own eponymous design practice. She scooped both the kitchen and bathroom awards in the highest project cost categories – a feat only achieved once before in the 23-year history of the event.’ Click here to read the full article
