Tucked behind the grand stucco terraces of Eaton Place, this Belgravia mews house pairs a modest exterior with classic architectural charm. Originally arranged over three levels with compact, somewhat disjointed living areas, the 1,700-square-foot property required a more efficient layout and a clearer sense of flow.
We were appointed to rework the interior architecture and design, creating a structure that maximised every inch of the available footprint while respecting the building’s understated character. Our redesign introduced a calm, contemporary approach where thoughtful spatial planning and a refined material palette reshape the daily experience of the home.
A full reconfiguration allowed us to create a dedicated top-floor master suite and a bright, open first-floor living space. We also introduced clever, integrated storage and a reimagined basement level designed specifically for dining and gathering.
The result is a home that feels significantly brighter and more coherent – a quiet, luxurious retreat which stands as a sophisticated example of how to bring a sense of openness and effortless luxury to a compact, historic London footprint.
