The family-friendly interior design of our Holland Park playroom was chosen by the millions of homeowners that comprise the Houzz community from among more than 2.5 million active home building, renovation,and design industry professionals.
These exclusive awards recognise just 3% of more than 2.5 million active home professionals, interior designers, and architectural photographers on the Houzz platform.
With a playroom design idea in mind, our client wanted to create an area separate from the children’s bedrooms where their two boys could play with their toys and have fun. Working alongside our client’s architect, a blank canvas of white was created, meaning it could be adapted as the children got older. We used an oversized bespoke wallpaper of dripping paint in primary colours, easily applied to any size wall, to add pops of colour without feeling too busy and cluttered.
Cleverly, the children’s playroom also boasts built-in white cabinets for keeping the toys neat and tidy whilst unique, upholstered red circles for cosy seating were incorporated to give each child their own special place to sit and read a book or watch TV.
