The complete refurbishment, including interior design and interior architecture of this 5,000 square foot Victorian property in St John’s Wood, London.
The owners of this beautiful stucco-fronted property in London wanted to transform and update their home both in terms of layout and interior décor to suit their lifestyle, which included stylish, personal work spaces, formal dining and intimate entertaining spaces for family and friends. The result is an elegant yet functional home with warm and inviting living spaces, generous guest accommodation, excellent storage and an interior scheme that showcases layers of texture and light for a sophisticated, welcoming feel.
Careful consideration was given to the products and materials specified throughout the design process to ensure quality, durability and overall aesthetics. Porcelain tiles and marbles were chosen for their distinct colouring and veining and all timbers were carefully reviewed against the interior scheme to add texture, precision and to complement the colour palette. Wall papers and grass cloths were used to add layers of texture, while bronze and antique brass metals used as inlays to the bespoke furniture and lighting add a sense of warmth and character.
